The Heart of Writing

I think that the heart of writing is getting intact with the author's words and relating that to your owns life and your story. Because we all have a story and we all could relate to someone else's story especially when it is a nonfiction piece and it is written from the wrtiter's own insight and personal life and is very truthful with themselves and the reader. Because that is what is going to make the bigger difference. Because if the author cannot find any meaning and purpose in the piece, then rarely will the rader find purpose and meaning in that piece.

The heart of writing is spritual to me. It pertains to digging-deep-inside yourself, pulling out words (with meaning) and transforming them on paper. Also while doing this you discover things about yourself you never knew you had.

The heart of writing is like crossing over to the new year. Wondering how you should translate what you're thinking to context. My metaphor: It's a new year and you have new resolutions you want to accomplish, but, you don't know where to begin, slowly as the year progress you realize your resolutions are being made -WITH MISTAKES. okay! don't panic, it's time to "REVISE" start over again to stay on track. Your almost there, more mistakes "REVISE."
Oh my gosh! you discover something new, now your in the learning stage, you may want to add and delete things in of your life. Hold on! your almost there, by the end of the year you have succeeded with all of you resolutions and now it's time for the next year with a phenomenal bang.

(hopefully you understand)

commenting on Porfirio about "the heart of writing is a strong tool to any person who loves to tell a story." That's deep I had to re-read this sentence and sit back and think about the word HEART with definition: The heart is a organ that circulated the blood in which- is responsible for pumping blood throught the vessels by repeated rhythmic contractions. Okay so what have I discovered? Well..... The heart of writing is a process of circulating words with meaning and making sure you audience stay alive without boredom.

The Heart of Writing makes you wanna express yourself in writing about your story and how you want people to read it and share their thoughts with your story.

I watch the video in class and again in the comfort of my own home, by doing so I have come to a conclusion about the heart of writing. The heart of writing is a conversation between your mind, heart, and the pen or pencil in your hand (how is that?). These thoughts or expression is converted to sentences with meaning. The video was so straight- to-the-point and so many students had bright and original ideas. To me there is no single meaning to the answer. Listening to the thoughts of those students was interesting, and educational.

Heart of writing for me is about passion in writing. That you keep on going writing and not stopping. Is like what Shanta Woodson said about the Heart that circulates the blood that pumps the blood through the vessels repeatedly like a rhythmic contractions. It keeps you going until you are finish.

I agreed with Shanta Woodson about the heart of writing is about conversation between your mind and heart. I guess what keeps the writer writing is because they like to express their passion, their dedication that tries to tells us how much they work so hard to make it perfect and to make the audience interesting in their stories.

When I watch the video I saw many students expressing their passion about writing. Every student posts their stories in busy streets where people could read every student what they wrote and express their feelings what they have experience. And every people who read their stories they too feel the writer, and some too like the stories. Passion in writing I takes motivation, feeling and to be creative.

I guess Heart of writing is I think the same as the language of desire, because to me heart means passion and that leads to desire, and writing is the same as language, which I think both of these topics is related.
What do you guys think? Or is it different?
